Nestled among the verticalities of Porta Nuova's towers, the park known as Biblioteca degli Alberi is the new green jewel of Milan. With its 90,000 square metres. of vegetation, it features numerous wellness paths, alongside playgrounds for children and areas for relaxation. Much more than a simple park, the design by the Dutch firm Inside Outside is a full-fledged botanical garden that is home to 23 species of trees. Traversed by a network of pathways, the park constitutes a point of connection uniting Piazza Gae Aulenti, the Isola district, via Melchiorre Gioia and the Varesine promenade. Living in Porta Nuova means looking out on this green lung and enjoying, every day, the city’s largest pedestrian area, ready to host a full calendar of artistic and cultural events open to the public.
