Being able to admire a unique view in the privacy of an understated, intimate living space is to have chosen a life in Aria. Two structures of different heights combined in a single building, Aria offers comfortable spaces for residents and an exclusive view of the city.
Centrality and privacy
Standing adjacent to Piazza della Repubblica and Viale della Liberazione, Aria is strategically located next to the new district.
It has been carefully designed to meet residents demands for privacy while, at the same time, providing them with the convenient links to the urban fabric that they need. There are three metro lines within walking distance. Moreover, Aria overlooks the “Giardini di Porta Nuova” park to the North, and to the East a courtyard garden of 4,000 square metres, linked to Piazza della Repubblica by a pedestrian path.
Blue sky living
Designed by the Arquitectonica firm in Miami, which is famous worldwide for its residential towers, in association with the Milanese firm Caputo Partnership, Aria, with its eighteen floors fits into the inside of a residential tower complex.
The building is comprised of two independent spaces, each of a different size, base and height. They are framed by a macro-structure which permits natural light to radiate between them.
With this deconstruction of volume, each residential unit has a double or triple exposure and, at the same time, a sense of complete privacy is ensured.
An elegant welcome
Aria’s main lobby stands out for its cutting edge architecture and attention to detail. Large, transparent, light-filled spaces are emphasized by furnishings created expressly for this building. Another lobby, for the exclusive use of residents, provides direct access to residential floors.
Common areas comprise conciergerie, car drop-off, bicycle parking area and reception area. These spaces have been designed and furnished by Dolce Vita Homes in collaboration with Coima Image and studio Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel and Partners.
Meeting your expectations
Aria houses different sized apartments - 55 to 350 square metres – and offers a variety of rooms designed to meet a variety of needs. Every single room is designed to deliver the right balance of liveability and efficient use of space, favouring floods of natural light, the absolute star feature of every apartment.
The interiors of the apartments have been designed by Dolce Vita Homes.
Each residence has large balconies with two floor ceiling height and three metres deep: real gardens in the sky, with an irregular layout designed to protect residents’ privacy. The glass panels have been designed as frames and play an important role in the apartment’s interior: guaranteeing the natural spread of light throughout the residence.
Roof gardens with fittings for swimming and hydromassage pools can be created for the exclusive use of duplex and triplex apartment owners.
Designed to make your life easier
Enabling residents to return home in ease and complete comfort is one of the aims the tower’s designers are proud to have achieved.
This has been the core concept in the design of the vehicle and pedestrian routes to the apartments.
If the complex is accessed by car, entrance to the ramps is controlled by number plate recognition cameras; at the same time, a sophisticated surveillance system in the main entrance lobby connects to a closed-circuit TV camera system for the other zones.
For additional security, the pedestrian path from the garage to the house will pass through the conciergerie.
Dolce Vita Homes with Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel and Partners and Coima Image worked on the design of the common areas and interiors of Aria whereas Land planned the landscape of the surroundings.
An excellent group of architects which represents a unique occasion for the achievement of architecture and living of Milan.
